AVG Free Expiration
If you are currently using AVG Free Edition, you will need to upgrade the program.

There are 2 options:
1. Download and install the updated AVG Free Antivirus (note, AVG Free may only be used on 1 computer, in a non-business environment).
2. Download and install AVG Anti-Malware

We strongly recommend that you choose AVG Anti-Malware or AVG Internet Security.
Why? AVG Free does not have any anti-spyware features, which means that you must use another product to keep your computer protected from spyware.

Most people do not remember to manually run their anti-malware programs (Ad-Aware, Spybot, Ewido, etc.), so their computers are unprotected against these important threats.

AVG Anti-Malware includes anti-virus and anti-spyware in one program, that automatically updates itself and automatically runs every day. Pricing is very reasonable, with prices starting at $33.95.

There are multi-year and multi-computer discounts. There’s also a version for business servers.

AVG Internet Security also includes a firewall and Anti-Spam. For Windows XP users, we generally recommend AVG Anti-Malware.
