| Happy 2022! Timesaving Tip: Copy and Paste Multiple Items Using the Windows Clipboard I often find myself needing to copy and paste several bits of information from one application to another. Typically, the Windows clipboard could only handle one item at a time. There are now a couple of solutions to this problem. Please refer to the article link for full details. 1. Turn on the Clipboard History feature in Windows. 2. Use a Clipboard Utility. I have been using ClipBoard Master utility. It’s free and is saving me a lot of time. January is a good time for some computer maintenance. Here are a few items to consider taking care of right now. 1. Change your passwords. Periodically changing your passwords is a great way to increase your online security and privacy. a. Use long passwords. at least 8 characters b. Use complicated passwords with Upper and Lower case letters, Numbers, and Special Characters. c. Use 2-factor Authentication wherever possible. 2. Delete Unneeded Emails; Use folders for Organizing Saved emails. Scam pop-ups and emails continue-Do not respond. We’re getting a lot of calls about pop-ups claiming to be from Microsoft, indicating a problem with your computer. There’s a number to call for support. We’re also seeing a lot of fake invoice emails, indicating that your credit card has been charged. There’s a number to call to cancel the order or to follow up. Please do not respond to these types of scams. The pop-ups usually go away after you restart your computer. If they don’t, please get in touch and we’ll help remove them.
