GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), is a new law that protects all European Union (EU), citizens online privacy. It controls what information businesses may collect and store. Generally, the law allows people to define what kinds of information is stored, how it’s used, and even to request deletion of certain information.

This new law is great news for all of us, even though we’re not European Union citizens, because many businesses that have to comply with the law are applying the new law to ALL their customers/account holders.

You have probably seen notifications from your vendors letting you know they’ve updated their privacy polices recently.
